Creative Writing - Directors Cut

Original Oratory is an event where you present a 10-minute memorized speech regarding something you're passionate about and want to change. I naturally picked my favorite topic: race in cinema. Luckily, others resonated with it, as I consistently placed in the top 3 in nearly every local circuit tournament. More important than results, though, were the people who came up to me after my performance and said, "Hey Sahil, you really changed the way I look at movies." That was the biggest win I could possibly receive.
