In the summer between middle school and high school, I thought it would be fun to start making video essays. Of course, when it came to movies, I picked my (still) favorite director, Damien Chazelle. While I have many things to critique about this video, for a rising freshman to make this independently without any prompting or assignment is something I'm still proud of.
