Born and raised in suburban St. Louis, I've had a passion for filmmaking for as long as I can remember. Whether it be watching samurai flicks with my dad or binging HBO dramas when I was definitely too young to watch them, my whole adolescence has revolved around the arts.
Outside of visual arts, my hobbies are pretty unconventional. I play jazz piano and often gig with friends throughout the city. I'm teaching myself guitar and other brass instruments. I'm interested in international politics and am the Extemporaneous Speaking captain on my school's Speech & Debate team. I'm also a Boy Scout and am currently working on my Eagle rank.
My friends definitely know me as an abstract thinker and a creative person. Sometimes, that's not a compliment, though. I'm quite an extrovert, so I'm always ready to try something new and break out of my comfort zone! Whether that be trying some crazy food or doing something super dangerous, I'm usually up for the task.
